Here's how you make 'em:
EASTER RICE KRISPIE TREATS
3 tbsp butter
10 oz. pkg mini marshmallows (fresh marshmallows work best)
6 c. Rice Krispies
Food Coloring
Easter candy and/or sprinkles
In large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Add 4-6 drops food coloring and mix. Remove from heat.
Add cereal. Stir until well coated. Mix in desired amount of pastel-colored sprinkles or Easter-themed candy.
Press mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Cool.

Yum! But I bet C's face is more, "How can I get one without mom looking?" than "Is that edible?" :)
ReplyDeleteDoes your school not have the store- bought only rule? It is the one thing I hate about my daughter's school. What lucky kids they were when they saw those.
