Easter Recap.

We had a wonderfully low-key Easter this year. The Easter bunny came and left each child with a one mini-present and a dozen candy-filled eggs to find. This year, we decided that Easter wasn't going to be about the basket. (We asked the Easter bunny to stop by on Saturday next year instead of Sunday morning. I think that will make Easter Sunday even better.) We spent a lot of time on Sunday talking about the true meaning of the holiday, cuddling our sweet children, skyping with family members from Hawaii to Washington D.C., and eating delicious food.

Hope your Easter Sunday was marvelous.

/// Am guest posting over on my sweet friend Meg's blog today. Sharing a short memory about one of my favorite days.

  1. Cute pictures of your family. Your hair looks red in the first one. By the way - I think your boys might be slightly crazy :)
Glad you had a good Easter! Wish we were closer to do a hunt together -- someday...

  12. Where did you find the easter baskets? They're darling? We're doing wizard of oz this Halloween and that would be perfect for Dorothy.

  13. @Hannah S: I believe I purchased those baskets at Roberts Crafts? I am not exactly sure. It was a couple years ago. I hope they still have them. (It could have been Joann's too....)
