Curtain Success.

I have confidence in my crafting taste and I never have problems picking out jewelry or a purse, but when it comes to home decor...I feel a bit lost. I think my problem is that I always have a detailed picture of what I want in my head. I can NEVER find it. Ever. Not even close.

I've been on the hunt for curtains. My walls and couches are tan, so I wanted the curtains to bring in some bright colors. I have one red wall in the room, so they had to match that too. (Decorating tip: Paint your wall AFTER you have the curtains. It is much easier to match paint to curtains than curtains to paint.)

After two years of searching...I found them! They are so perfect. I can't wait to hang them. I'm thinking about making couch pillows in yellow, lime green, pink and red. Bright and happy. Oh, I'm so excited.

Can't wait to hang them!

  5. Oh my these are beautiful!! I haven't really thought about curtains for my living room...been living with natural wood blinds since we bought the house. But now I see these and man, what a great touch it brings...so vibrant and so much character. I'm going to Cost Plus this weekend....gonna have to check out their curtain selection. 11. Wow, Hannah, I really love these! I know exactly what you're saying about having a hard time getting color incorporated into your decor. I also love World Market. Another thing I'm missing about Denver.
