I was invited to a fun blogger summer social which took place last Friday. It was hosted by the fabulous April of Sweet Life in the Valley. One of the sponsors was Rocky Mountain Outfitters who took about 9-10 of us on a fun horseback ride in the beautiful mountains of Midway, UT. It was glorious to mosey through the beautiful fields and enjoy the gorgeous scenery in near silence. I was able to chat with blogger friends and my cute little sister who was also invited.Every time I wander through the mountains of Utah, I am so happy that I live here. It is so diverse and beautiful. I don't think I ever want to move...
The cowboys were super nice, even though I am sure they were making fun of the pregnant city slicker on the horse.
Cute Sarah getting ready to leave. Her horse was an eater. It was kind of hilarious watching everyone in front of me trying to keep their horses from eating. The would kick as hard as they could and the cowgirls would say, "Kick harder! You aren't going to hurt the 1200-lb animal!" Luckily, my horse was very obedient. (Just a little slow, which suited me just fine. I was soaking in the scenery, so I was in no rush.)**We missed you, Hilary!
Wow, This looks so wonderful! I am definitely going to look into taking my family for a horseback ride. Do you remember the company that you went with? It has been so long since I've been to midway, it is definitely time to revisit it!
