...school, job, and house stresses

I have been a horrible poster on this blog. I think I am going to follow in the example of Kristen and make updating my blog one of my New Years resolutions...

My life has been a little bit hectic and stressful in the past couple months. I haven't been posting about it much cause I really didn't want to think about it. J was studying for the GMAT and finally took it a few weeks ago. He did pretty well and was accepted to all the schools he applied to. But, when the deadline came to register, he just didn't feel good about it.

In the meantime, my sister and her husband were planning on taking our place in the house we are living in. They sold their contract, assuming we were leaving, and started moving in. So now...we are going to buck up together until J find a job and we find a house. I am a little stressed about this... I hope they like us after living with us!! :) J applied to a couple jobs while we were here in Hawaii and has one interview scheduled for when we return and one company asked him to send a writing sample. I hope one of those works out so we can let Sarah and Ariel have a home to themselves.

Doesn't it seem like we are going through this every four months?? Well...thats cause we are. Just about every four months a door is closed to us and we have to hurry and decide on another plan. I am just praying that the current plan is the one Heavenly Father wants for us. I guess we are just not picking the one that He wants for us and He keeps putting up blocks to keep us from going the wrong way.

At this point, I really don't care what we do. I just want to do something.

  1. Oh, Hannah. I hear you. I wish you were here so we could hang out and forget about the stress, but I think Hawaii is probably less stressful. :) I know Heavenly Father has a plan for all of us- I just wish it wasn't so hard to see sometimes! Hugs and prayers coming your way.

  2. I am sorry we are so stressed about us living together. It will be hard, I think we have both come to accept that, but we will survive. We will always like each other.
I think wherever life takes you and your family, you guys will be blessed because you are living the right way and you are entitled to these blessings.

  4. oh wow - good luck with everything! At least you do have the spirit guiding you - it may be rough at times, but it will eventually work out how it needs to, to be the greatest blessing to you and other people you will influence.

I'll keep you in my prayers!
