Hi there -- I'm Jen from Tatertots & Jello.  

I'm so excited to be here at Sherbert Blossoms!

Every year before school starts I like to go through the closets in my home and clean things out. I found that my kids had some oversized toys that needed somewhere to be stored. So I decided to make some pretty toy bins.

I went to IKEA and found these unfinished storage containers. They are quite big - 22 wide, 12 inches high, 13 inches wide. I got out my handy spray paint and went to work.

Then I got out my trusty mod podge and some Amy Butler scrapbook paper and mod podged the front of the bins.

And then I attached some Metal Scrapbook Frames that I found at the craft store. I put pictures of my daughter in them since they were going in her room.

Now my daughter has a place for those larger toys that won't fit in her closet. These would also make great containers in other places in your home -- from the mudroom for shoes to the family room for magazines and books.
