...back to school and crafting

My daughter started school yesterday. She is in her second year of preschool and I can't believe it. I dread next year when she will start Kindergarten. That seems way too old. I can't get over the fact that she isn't 2 anymore. She was insisting on wearing her cowgirl boots with her new pink tutu, but I was able to talk her out of the tutu about 10 minutes before preschool started. (Thank heavens...)

But...the good thing that comes with this time of year is that I get a little more time for crafting. When she is at school and my little guy is napping, I can get some good sewing, jewelry making and paper crafting in. I have been perusing craft/diy blogs for ideas and inspiration and can't wait to satisfy my need for daily crafting.

    When I first saw your comment I thought you were my younger sister (who has the same name)! I am in school to be a kindergarten teacher so I've seen parents who don't want to leave their babies-you are not alone:)

    i've seriously been bitten by the crafting bug lately.. spent 1/2 the day yesterday cleaning out and organizing all my supplies, then spent several hours last night making things :)
