BUT...I lied.
I threw out, ripped up and stomped on that recipe when my sister let me try a bite of her banana bread. It was 10,000x's better than any banana bread I had ever tried. It had an amazing flavor with a firm outer crust that melted in my mouth and a soft, delicious inside. Serious heaven.
I made 2 loaves of Sarah's recipe for family night on Monday. The embarrassing truth: BOTH loaves we gone by Wednesday. Seriously. We ate them. Gone. 2 entire loaves. This recipe is that good...
The Ultimate Banana Bread
2 cups sugar
2½ cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp nutmeg
½ tsp baking powder
1 cup oil
3 eggs
2 cups mashed bananas
1 tsp vanilla
Simple directions: Combine dry ingredients. Add wet ingredients. Bake in greased bread pans (2) for 1 hour at 350°

Sweet! Good timing, I was going to make some today. Banana bread is my FAV and I think I have a pretty dang good recipe, so I'm anxious to try this one :) Thanks for sharing.
