I start mornings early. I get up to have "me" time around 6-7:00 a.m. I mentioned yesterday that I love it. Often, I catch up on blogs during this time. It is quiet and early...that time before I have even spoken to anyone. I can't tell you how many times I jumped this morning because of loud music startling me on blogs! I am sure it would have been pretty funny to watch.I actually love to see music on blogs. I have found many great songs through these "recommendations." However, I prefer that they don't start playing as soon as I enter the site. I want to press "play" to hear it.
What is your opinion on blog music?
I agree COMPLETELY. Sometimes, I'm already listening to my own music and then it's just chaos when I check out a blog with a soundtrack. There should definitely be an optional play button.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree with you more. I feel like when it starts automatically it's almost like someone trying to cram their style of music down your throat! I have a play list on my blog... but you have to push play. That way, if people are interested in the songs I like, then they can help themselves. But I am not going to force them to listen to it.

ReplyDeleteHA! That's funny...I know most people don't like the music thing or want to listen to their own. Well, most people have music on their blog so I know it is coming and expect it. For the most part I like listening to the variety. If I don't like it, simple enough, I change it or turn it off!!!

ReplyDeleteif i was smarter, i would figure out how to fix mine so that people could press play. but my sister put it on when i started in january and it took her 2 hours to do it, so i don't DARE! my bad. hope i don't startle you!
I like blog music, but I like to push play myself. I, too, have found some great music that way.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan! I prefer to just read and move on. I too get startled some times and it sucks! I do once in a while come across a great new song I enjoy but it's not that often!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree. Only ONCE have I had music automatically playing on a site that I visited that I actually enjoyed. Most of the time, I find it to be an invasion and I'm clamouring to find the offensive player and turn it off, or worst case scenario to actually turn my computer speakers off!
