My husband has a crazy schedule. He works 6 days a week, 8-10 hour days, and starts the day at 6am. He gets home from work between 4-5 and we eat a rushed meal that I try to have ready for him when he walks in the door. (No...I am not one of THOSE wives normally, but he wouldn't have time to eat otherwise.) After dinner on the weekdays, he has school which starts at 5:30 and goes until 9-9:30. I lived for Sundays. It was the only day I had J to myself.
Not anymore.

Oh dang, that sucks (I know the feeling)! It's so hard when hubbies have to work so much. It's just stressful for everyone. Good luck! Hang in there. You must be superwoman mom and wife!!
ReplyDeleteWhat does he do? I can't remember. It is hard having a husband gone a lot. Mine is out of town every other week. ACK! This is his away week, and I am ready to crash now that the kids are down.
ReplyDeleteOh HANNAH! That stinks! When Aaron works on Sunday it throws off my whole week. I need my sundays with my hubby!
ReplyDeleteOh man! A busy calling is hard when your time is already spread so thin. I heard a talk once when the speaker (our stake pres.) talked about when the husband or wife walks out the door to do their calling, an extra portion of the spirit walks in. It's really helped me when callings just seem really hard.
