...baseball

Is it un-American for me to say that I find baseball boring? I really feel guilty even writing it on my blog. I LOVE football and like basketball, but seriously...baseball is boring to watch. After 5 innings, I was watching the clock. Thank heavens for good friends and greasy baseball food, or that would have been torture.

  5. WHAT!!!?????
I love baseball. I realize it's a little slow paced but I love that!
and I get into the math (statistics) part of it all.
I even keep score/track of all hits/balls (I said balls!) and strikes.
Yeah, I know, I know. Weird.

  6. Well, Suzie. Maybe that is my problem...I don't really get the game. I should learn and try watching your way. :)

  7. Hmmm... I think it depends on the game... I would have to agree sometimes, but the game can get exciting. Was it a major league game? I have only been to a couple Major league ones and they were much more exciting than the little minor league ones!

  8. so it's possible that I just barely realized you had your own seperate blog...I thought you just had your family one...I'm a little slow! You're so beautiful and talented I can't even stand it! And I think baseball is super boring too. My brother used to be a pitcher so it's better when you still know someone on the team...but...still super boring even then!

  9. I agree that baseball is not necessarily the most exciting of sports, but just because it's not as fast paced. I did love a little baseball player booty in my day, though. And I think I manage to enjoy the occasional game just for the "American-ness" of it all. Who doesn't love great food at a baseball game?!?

  10. I like baseball because Joe is teaching me the rules. He loves the strategy and the complexity of the game - it's kind of contagious. The kids love it and eat their hot dogs and yell things like "swing batta!" and "come on Blue!" Even then, sometimes things are slow and I secretly hope for a good brawl.

  11. That's why baseball has been having a hard time the past while attracting more fans, cause it's kinda long and boring to most people.

  12. Hannah! My computer is totally freaking out. I sent you an email yesterday and Friday but apparently they didn't go through. I'm on my husband's lappy now. Sorry! Sorry! I'll take a sandstone burner. Let me know my total, please. Ahhh, I am so sorry you had to hold off your order for me! Holly

  13. Sweet! In more ways than one! I love and need scents. I try to have candles burning most times. I live in a 1 room studio, with 2 cats and need all the help I can get. Although these look to beautiful to burn.

  14. Just checking out your blog today... and I knew I would like you for no other reason than the fact that you don't like baseball either! :) The -only- thing a baseball game is good for is people watching.
