...what I am thankful for today

Today is Thursday and I am having a stressful night! Thanks to Tib for the banner and helping me take a break to think about the wonderful things in my life.

1. I am thankful for my mother. She has been visiting us for three weeks now and we still have her for a couple more. I love having her here. She lives in Hawaii, so I don't get to see her very often.

2. I am grateful for sisters and sister-in-laws. I have the most wonderful, supportive sisters. They still love me when I am ornery, listen to me when I am sad, and laugh with me when I need a lift.

3. I am grateful for my funny kids. Even when I am stressed beyond belief, they can always make me laugh.

4. I am grateful for my handy brother who went into my crawl space and installed my internet so I wouldn't have to pay $150 to get it moved by the "professionals." I am also grateful that he designed and is building my fence. I tell you, Adam is amazing! He is sweet and oh-so-handy. Any single girls want to date a 27-year-old college grad? He's available! Bonus...I would be your sister-in-law!

5. I am grateful for J's new "career." Yes, it has been a stressful 3 years and this next year is going to be even more stressful. But, I am so glad he has this job and the job training at night. I miss him (he is gone from 6:30am-9:30pm), but it will be worth it. I have actually cried 3 or 4 times about being a "single mother." It is hard! (If any of you want to come visit or call me, I am lonely in this house all day!) J and I live to see each other on the weekends...

  5. Hi Hannah~
Nice to meet you & thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. I love both of yours--such great design! It's no surprise you're a graphic designer...

So I have to do the do-you-know game. My husband's family came from Burley--the Lees. Do you know his cousins Brent or Jacqueline or Ike or Tiffany Lee?? His Grandpa & Grandma moved away to St. George a while back (& his grandma passed away in the fall) but we used to go there all the time. Anyway...have a great mother's day!

  6. You would be a good sister in law, but I'm not in the market actually! That's so good that Jason is getting more settled in a career. What is he going to be doing now? We are still "thinking" about it.
