...torturing myself

Actually, I am past the point of thinking about torturing myself. I am doing it as we speak. My little sister and I have decided to not eat desserts for the next couple months. (Well...I am giving myself a one-night-a-month break and allowing myself to eat dessert at cooking club. I just can't pass up my friends' gourmet cooking.)

I bought a huge case of Costco strawberries to appease my sweet tooth and so far it has worked. For dessert tonight, J is going to have strawberries with ice cream. I am going to eat them with milk and try not to be too envious of my husband's bowl of creamy yumminess.

  3. Can you dip the strawberries in sour cream and then sprinkle brown sugar on them or does that count as dessert?

i'm glad you left a comment. my comment for you is WHY ARE YOU NOT EATING SUGAR????? it's not worth it, EVER!!!! i am a junk food junkie, so you will get no support from mindi in this department. you will, however, get support in your spider phobia i just read about. terrified of them. YUCK.

  10. Well, Mindi, I have this little thing on me called BABY FAT. I thought the no sugar rule might jump start the loss of it. :)

  13. i am doing this too. it has actually been ok so far. i am just so sick of the baby weight, and just started running again, so i am getting down to business. i just try to think about it as one day at a time, and haven't set a date to start eating them again, so technically, i could eat sweets tomorrow... but i won't!

i get that fat free sugar free chocolate pudding and jello, fruit is good, crystal light it good, and even a diet pepsi here and there is good.

    good luck!
