My friend, Tiburon, asks everyone about their favorite things every Monday. This week she asked what our favorite restaurant is.
I love food, so I have a hard time picking. I have a tie with four restaurants:
1. Thai Chili Gardens
2. The Bombay House
3. Carrabbas (Love that Chicken Bryan!)
4. Sam Choy's - Diamond Head
Yum! I love all of them! If I could afford Sam Choy's and lived in Hawaii, that would probably be my all time favorite, but since I can't and don't...it is just on my list of four. :)
Want to know what my favorite food ISN'T? I don't like Chinese food. (Which is weird, cause I LOVE ethnic food!) I don't like the fried, greasy food or their think sauces and soups. I always get sick after eating it. Not a fan.
Now I am dying to know what YOUR favorite restaurants are!
Oh...I don't like Chinese food either. But I LOVE Indian food. My husband raves about the Bombay House. He went there with friends last time we were in town. For sure next time I will have to go.
ReplyDeleteOne place (that's sort of Chinese) that I love in Provo is the Four Seasons Hot Pot & Dumplings at 236 N University Ave. That is one place I can never get enough of. It's sort of like fondue with broth instead of cheese and with noodles. I've never been to a Mongolian BBQ place, but I'm told it's similar...
Maybe I should just do this on my blog.
oh my goodness - i love chinese food. and sam choy's - expensive!!! i'm so hungry now! ;)

ReplyDeleteChinese is my least favorite "Asian" food as well... at least the way most places prepare it but oddly enough one of my favorite restaurants is a Chinese place in San Fran called House of Nan King... It's so much better then any thing you have ever had. Favorite chain restaurant is Cheese Cake Factory but it's been a while and to be perfectly honest...Denny's!
