...food storage

I almost forgot to post today, but just as I was getting into bed, I remembered. J ran down the stairs and brought me his laptop so that I wouldn't fail at my post-every-day-for-a-month goal. So, I am sitting in my bed right now typing in the dark on J's little mac laptop. This is silly...

Today Sarah, my little sister, and I were perusing the grocery ads, as every good homemaker does...and we noticed Macey's Case Lot Sale! Food Storage! My church has really been pushing food storage lately, so I have been waiting for this sale. We made a list of all the food items we need and use, and then went to the store to shop. I loaded my cart and bought a LOT of food. Yay for food storage!

Once I arrived at home, I brought all the food in and looked in my pantry. It is a rather large pantry...but it didn't have enough room for all the food I bought, so I ended up reorganizing the whole thing. It looks so great. I feel so prepared...and organized...and tired.

  1. I was at Macey's yesterday too thinking I should have planned ahead so I could be taking advantage of the case lot sale. I've heard it's going all month with rotating deals, so I'm going to have to go back for sure!
