
I'll be the first to admit that exercising has never been my favorite activity, but I always went out of obligation. Right before my last pregnancy, I discovered cycling classes and I LOVED them! It is a fabulous, hard workout, but it is so fun! I just started going again since having C, and it is such a great escape. I leave every class feeling like I just finished a hard race. (It helps that the 50-year-old granola teacher describes vividly a different race or trail each class, and then plays the sound of a cheering crowd as we cross the finished line. ha! He is hilarious...)
So...I will soon be heading to bed because tomorrow, the class starts at 5:45 am. Ugg! One thing I am not is a morning person.

Good for you! I take one cycling class a week and it kicks my butt. I like it though - burns a lot of calories. No granola teacher though and no cheering - now I think I am getting jipped.
ReplyDeleteI have never done a spin class, although I've thought it could be fun. I would probably feel like I couldn't walk afterwards! Yes, morning person is not really my bag either.

ReplyDeleteNo way, Melissa. The skill level required for the class is remarkable little. Figuring out the bike is the easy part of the class. They also do it in the dark, so no one can really see you or how fast you are going. It is great!
