...my sewing skills

I have decided to try my hand at sewing clothes. Those of you who have seen my attempts at blanket making (namely...Hilary) are probably scared for me, but I am going to try it anyway.

So I picked out a dress pattern from Vogue. It was hard, though. How are we supposed to tell if the dress is cute when they draw people like this:Seriously...I have no idea if this is cute or not. Probably with my sewing skills...not. ha. I'll show you the finished product when I finish it. (Since I don't really know what I am doing...it may be a while...)

  6. I hate trying to pick out patterns also. I hardly ever do it though, since I don't even own a sewing machine. I'm sure it's going to be so cute though.

  8. Wow!! What an undertaking! You surely are brave! I do curtains (and not great ones at that) because I figure that I'm the only one that has to see it if I mess up too badly... Whatever!

  9. I think that dress will turn out fabulously. And there's nothing more to sewing that following directions and being careful with the cutting-up of things. You'll do great! Can't wait for the final product!

  11. Hannah, your blanket making skills are great! We use that blanket you made for Caleb all the time! I am very impressed by it and the fact that you didn't even use a pattern. Thanks again for it and good luck with the dress!

  12. oh man. I am SOOO envious that you can even ATTEMPT such a thing. I happen to LOVE both of those dresses. You better model those sassy numbers and snap a few pics.

Thanks for your "questions" over on my blog. I've seen you on Miss's blog and thought "that girl has great bangs" :)
