...red lipstick

On a mission to find the perfect red lip. I've been on this mission for a while, but can't seem to find one that I like on me. I feel like I've tried them all. Drugstore, department store. You name the brand, I've probably tried something by them. I've recieved profession advice and I've bought other on a whim. I'm at a loss.

I am currently sporting "Red" by Mary Kay. It is a bright, bright red and I decided to take a picture and ask for your advice. This plan didn't work for 2 reasons.
1. You can't tell that the lipstick is bright red. It looks more black Gothic.
2. It is impossible to take a normal picture in my house with crazy children.

Kids are driving me crazy in this one and jumping around screaming. I am trying to keep a straight face.

Getting annoyed. Kid wants in picture, but I don't want to show her crazy hair. Holding her back behind me.

Fine. I gave in and let her in. Crazy smile on me. And, oh my child. What a mess.

    lol. I always look constipated in pictures I take of myself, I hate getting my picture done

    To be honest, I don't like the red. That's just my opinion. It just looks fake to me. But once again, that's just my opinion. Don't hate me if you don't agree.

    Even though I can't tell what the red lipstick looks like on you I must say...I ADORE red lipstick. I'm not even that into makeup but if I'm going to a fancy wedding or what not...I'm wearing red lipstick.

    I love the red lipstick! What kind is it? I've been thinking about trying out red, I tried it once when we were first married and it looked horrible... but second thoughts now... I think it looks great!

    This is Mary Kay. I think it is a tad too bright. I am going to try on MACs at nordstom too see if I can find a color I like more.
